In early June 2019, several major shops in the industry began listing SIG Sauer OEM 15 rounds on their websites. In fact, there are no products and no image. Just a rumor, but there are rumors that something big is coming.

Finally, the SIGP365XL has made its way to the integrated industry. A number of vendors shared the information and I contacted my friends at SIG for an official announcement and they were happy to pass it on to me.

The SIG P365 and P365 XL use the Sig P365 Nitron coating. Nitron coating is a strong and reliable coating with excellent resistance to rust and abrasion. The finish is strong and I can attest to it with a lot of use for my personal P365.
It is a matte black color but has a gray undertone. It looks professional and it is used with attention to detail.

There is no information about where the decision is being used or the inconsistency in its use. It's smooth and looks good. SIG uses a stainless steel like steel under the Nitron coating, so you get a strong second layer to resist impact.
The black polymer frame is well built and has plastic markings to indicate where the mold was joined.
The ski is labeled P365 and on the XL variant you will also see the XL label. The black polymer frame also has the SIG SAUER name on it and I love it. Like the P320 series, the P365 uses an internal disc that allows the "gun" to be removed from the mount.
This allows you to switch frames and buy custom frames with different finishes. This is a simple method that works and seems to work well. It also allows you to run a SIG P365 horizontal slide on a P365X frame and vice versa.

Back to the story at hand, the P365 XL has a long 3.7-inch barrel and an overall length of 6.6 inches. The gun weighs 20.07 ounces and the matching magazine is a P365 12 round. There is also a 15 round magazine to further expand the range. This P365 extended magazine is a nice addition to the gun. Speaking of height, it stands 4.8 inches tall and holds a 12-round magazine.
The weapons are very different, but both are small for their class. The P365 is very small compared to pistols like the Glock 26. The same goes for the P365 XL. The P365 XL's closest competitor is the Glock 19, which has a 15-round P365 xl magazine. However, the P365 XL is shorter, lighter, and thinner than the Glock 19. In fact, it is comparable in size to the Glock 48, while offering 2 to 5 more rounds.
The SIG P365 is one of the most ergonomic pistols out there. The grip is long enough to fill the hand and the lower design of the safety guard allows it to be held high on the gun. The P365 was introduced as a feature-packed weapon. It came from the factory with a 10 round flush magazine as well as a ten round and pink extension. 12 round magazines were also found at launch.
The gun comes with SIG XRAY3 night sights which is a really nice touch. The gun is rated for +P and of course the manual safety option is a favorite of some. Safety manuals are also regulated in MA.
Can the P365 XL do better? Yes, of course you can. We've already mentioned the biggest threat to the P365 XL. This gives you more control and shorter exposure to triggers. Plus, you still get great night vision as a purchase option. You will also soon receive two 12 round mags with a 15 round mag.
You also have the feature that sold me on the gun which is a rough cut model for the red dot. A red arrow is a great addition to a beam weapon. The P365 XL will have a slider that uses the Romeo Zero optics or the Shield RMSc Red Dot. The red dot on the gun makes it easier to shoot faster, better and more accurately. P365 Vs P365xl Accuracy
The Romeo Zero will be launched at the same time as the P365 XL. The sliding plate houses your rear sight and puts the front sight back. The P365 XL also has a slightly longer stock for more control over your gun and easier shooting.
The grip also has a built-in magwell for faster and easier reloading of the weapon.
If you have big hands like me, the regular P365 can be difficult to fix. This built-in magwell allows you to reload without straining your hand to hold the magazine.
One of the best things about P365 is how easy it is to manage. The hand has not fired and is rare for a pocket 9mm. The P365 is a great gun. There is a bit of leather and curl, but it is still very easy. The P365's small beavertail prevents slippage, another rarity for a small gun.
